I am currently maintaining clients websites and researching new technologies and industry trends by learning and becoming part of apple developers network and creating small web applications for mobiles. I also use different APIs within my sites to incorporate Google maps, Facebook and Flickr. As well as improving my skills I have also recently been working on a couple of small e-commerce sites.

Taking a design from designers and creating stunning websites, working closely with the design team. Also some server maintenance. Always ensuring the websites I create are clean, valid and consistent and are identical in all browsers.

At AVERT.org, I had a varied job. I was responsible for updating and creating new pages on the company website using the company's CMS. Mac IT support for staff within the company. Ensure website compatibility and consistency amongst all main web browsers, IE6/7/8, FireFox3, Opera and Safari. Building and developing in-house tools to aid in SEO analysis and implementation. Other main Search Engine Optimization techniques are as follows.

Keeping W3C compliancy in mind, producing XML site-maps and monitoring them.
Clearly communicating with the content writers to resolve technical queries and issues with search campaigns.
Implementation and analysis of various tracking software platforms such as Google analytics, Alexa. Plus analysis of log files for search engine spider activity.
Carrying out research of search engine algorithm changes - including tests to detect the effectiveness of our search engine optimization methodology.
Monitoring changes to search engines by participating in forums, reading and producing white papers

(started working 1 day a week whilst still at Ashdown then was taken on full time)
Working in a small team of 4 Maintaining clients' websites and checking the consistency of all pages within the websites. I worked closely with the management and full training was given on hand coding ASP and SQL.
Also at Intramedia I also had to do lots of testing and checking the consistency of the client websites and ensuring compatibility in Internet Explorer6/7 FireFox, Safari and Opera browsers. Design, redesign of client websites and

XHTML/CSS: Experienced in HTML 5 / CSS 3 hand coding to create valid and W3C compliant code. Always testing in different browser types.

XML, XSLT, JSON, AJAX used in previous small XCode and Dashcode mobile web development projects

Graphics: 10 years front end design experience using Adobe Photoshop. Designing websites to Web Standards.

Multimedia: 4 years experience using Adobe Flash to create image transitions and fairly basic animations.

Programming: 5 years Javascript/JQuery, Classic ASP, PHP/mySQL

SEO: Implementing new and existing SEO techniques for GOOGLE and other search engines. Testing and optimizing of web content

APIs: Implementation Google Maps, Facebook, Flickr and other APIs

IT Support: General administration and setup of PCs and Macs, setting up and installation of operating systems and various software. IT software support, staff software training and support.
